Spanish Certified Translation UK is a trusted network of Spanish linguists—certified, sworn and notarised—serving clients across the UK.

Certified French Translation

Our certified French translation mirrors every detail of your original document—names, dates, formatting, and punctuation. Once translated, our certified translator adds a stamp and signature, making your document legally valid in France and recognised in the UK. We handle birth, marriage, and death certificates; academic transcripts; property deeds; legal contracts; and police checks.

Sworn French Translation (Traduction Assermentée)

When you face court hearings, immigration applications, or any formal legal matter in France, you need a sworn translation. Our sworn translators take an oath before a French court and include a formal declaration with each translation. This makes your documents ready for submission to French courts, administrative offices, or embassies. Ideal for: court filings, affidavits, visa documents, and notarial acts.

Notarised Translation

If you’re using documents abroad, you may need an apostille or UK notary stamp. We handle all the details: we set up your notary appointment, complete the paperwork, and secure the apostille sticker if your documents go to a Hague Convention country. This extra step ensures embassies, consulates, and foreign institutions accept your translation right away.

French Transcription Services

Need an audio or video file in French turned into text? Our French transcription services are fast, accurate, and affordable. We offer verbatim transcripts (word-for-word), edited transcripts (cleaned-up versions with speaker labels), and time‐stamped transcripts. Our transcribers handle all French accents and specialised vocabularies in medicine, law, finance, or engineering.

French Interpreting Services

For business meetings, court appearances, or medical appointments, our French interpreters ensure clear communication. We provide on-site interpreting for face-to-face events, remote interpreting via video or phone calls, and escort interpreting for site visits or tours. Our interpreters hold professional diplomas, specialise in legal, medical, or corporate fields, and work in both simultaneous and consecutive modes.

Let’s work on your French translation project together

Most certified translations are completed within two business days once we receive your documents. If you have an urgent deadline, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

For translations, we need a copy of your original document or an approximate word count and document type (e.g., birth certificate, contract). For transcription, we need your audio or video file. For interpreting, please share the date, time, location (on-site or remote), and subject matter.

Yes. Our certified translators are officially accredited under French law, and our sworn translators are listed by the French Ministry of Justice. We include all necessary stamps and signatures so your documents are accepted without extra checks.

If your documents are going to a French court, embassy, or immigration office, you need a sworn translation (traduction assermentée). For applications to universities, professional licences, or most government departments, a certified translation is usually sufficient. If you’re not sure which you need, just ask us—we’ll advise you.

Once we complete your certified or sworn translation, we arrange your appointment with a UK notary. If you need an apostille for a Hague Convention country, we’ll secure the apostille sticker as well. We handle all the paperwork so you don’t have to worry about travel or scheduling.

Yes. Our transcribers are experienced in handling challenging recordings. We’ll provide a verbatim transcript that includes pauses and unclear words (marked as [inaudible] if necessary). If you prefer a cleaner version with missing words filled in or marked, let us know and we’ll adjust accordingly.

Whenever possible, we recommend booking at least one week in advance for on-site events. For remote interpreting, we can often arrange support on shorter notice—sometimes within 24 hours. If your event is last-minute, get in touch and we’ll do our best to find a suitable interpreter.

Rates vary depending on the service, document type, and urgency. We provide transparent, itemised quotes with no hidden fees. You can pay by bank transfer, credit or debit card, or PayPal. We usually ask for payment upon delivery for one-off projects; for larger or ongoing work, we can discuss alternative arrangements.

Absolutely. Your satisfaction is our priority. If you notice any errors or want clarifications, just let us know within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll correct it free of charge.

We keep your files secure for up to six months in case you need further assistance or revisions. After that period, we delete all your data unless you ask us to keep it longer (for recurring projects or long-term collaborations). All files are stored and transmitted in compliance with GDPR.
